As an IT professional for nearly 10 years, most of my time was spent working for different solution providers,  and being frequently moved from one company to another as the demand for their services  increased or decreased.  I have been employed by, or completed work for, companies such as Motorola, Verizon Wireless, Pacific Cycle, Haworth, Washington Mutual, American Electric Power, Siemens Business Services, Teksystems and International Business Machines (IBM.) This allowed me to experience many different styles of Information Technology management and support, and a wide variety of hardware, software and systems.  After working with companies that ranged in size from a dozen employees, to multi-million dollar corporate giants, I have decided to bring all my experience back to Southwest Michigan where I got started, to use this wealth of knowledge in assisting local area businesses.  I am here to help you get the most from your technology investments, finding the appropriate systems for the job, setting it up right the first time, and keeping it running smoothly.

Mission

To provide Professional, Courteous and Reliable technology support solutions to local area businesses, at prices that are reasonable and affordable.

Certification

I pride myself in continuous learning of the products I support.  The knowledge I bring with me, largely from experience and some from studies, has earned me the following professional certifications:

Microsoft® Certified Professional (MCP)
Microsoft® Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)
Microsoft® Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)

These certifications require a demonstration of knowledge and understanding in the following areas:

  • Managing a Windows 2000 Network Environment
  • Designing a Microsoft® Windows® 2000 Network Infrastructure
  • Implementing and Administering a Microsoft® Windows® 2000 Network Infrastructure
  • Migrating from Microsoft® Windows NT® 4.0 to Microsoft® Windows® 2000
  • Designing a Microsoft® Windows® 2000 Directory Services Infrastructure
  • Implementing and Administering a Microsoft® Windows® 2000 Directory Services Infrastructure
  • Installing, Configuring, and Administering Microsoft® Windows® 2000 Server
  • Installing, Configuring, and Administering Microsoft® Windows® 2000 Professional
  • Implementing and Supporting NT™ Server 4.0
  • Networking Essentials
  • Implementing and Supporting NT™ 4.0 Workstation

*For those of you not intimately familiar with the Windows operating systems, you should know that Windows 2000 and XP workstations are extremely similar in design and operation, as are Windows 2000 and 2003 Server operating systems.  They are both enhanced with additional features and functions, but Installation, administration and support are almost identical.  For this reason I have chosen not to recertify on those Operating systems at this time.
